I have been to the United Kingdom two times before on business trips and I am beginning to get used to the procedure now. One of the things that I do need to do this time is to make sure that I make use of an international cell phone service. I did not do this last time and I simply used a roaming plan. This ended up costing me quite a significant amount of money.
Needless to say the person in charge of accounts at the company has told me that this is unacceptable and that when I get to the UK this time that I must sign up for an international service straightaway. Although they did end up paying my expenses last time they made it very clear to me that if I was to claim such a ridiculous amount of money for telephone expenses this time that they would refuse to redeem my claim.
